What he was
Pernambuco was a very serious dog who approached his work with full force. He was not a dog to be toyed with. He was brought into our lines specifically to add KNPV edge — true, practical seriousness rather than sport-only flash.
There is a fine line between leaning toward sport and leaning toward real-world seriousness, and Pernambuco stood firmly on the side of function. He was a force in his own right and reliably passed that seriousness on to his progeny.
Even when paired with confident, strong females, his puppies are best suited for experienced handlers and trainers who understand structure, clarity, and consequence.

HOME LIFE
He was an outstanding personal protection dog but required a knowledgeable and capable leader. He took life seriously and tends to throw this in his progeny. Not unstable — just serious. He was not a sport model.
